Fees for patients paying through their insurance company

​

Obstetric packages:
To book through your insurance, please contact them and obtain a pre-authorisation code for antenatal visits and delivery. Please advise us of this code together with your insurance company details, contact details, letters of guarantee, policy number, claim numbers and claim forms. We can then invoice your insurance company directly.

Patients attending without the appropriate authorisation from their insurance company will have to pay for the appointment and reclaim from their insurers.

 

Please ensure that your policy fully covers both our fees and the hospital fees. In the event of your policy not fully covering our fees, you will be liable for any of the shortfall. If there is any shortfall, we will advise you and you will need to pay this by 34 weeks.

 

Please note that UK insurers do not cover private obstetric care. Occasionally your insurance will cover an emergency caesarean section but this will only cover a small portion of the overall fees and there is therefore likely to be a significant shortfall.

One-off obstetric appointments and/or ultrasound scans:

We will bill you directly per visit; and you will have to claim the fees from your insurance company.

Fees for self-funding patients

Obstetric packages:

A deposit will be required to confirm booking. Before 20 weeks this is £3000. At or after 20 weeks the deposit is 50%. All remaining fees must be fully paid by 34 weeks.
